- Student Living
Overview :
MS Ramaiah Group wanted to create a state-of-the-art student
accommodation facility infrastructure in Bangalore to cater to the
ever-growing student populace in the city. There are folks thronging
from all parts of the world to study at some of the City’s finest
institutions. Student Living was to be an answer to all those seeking
comforts of a student life in a well managed living quarter
Challenge
: Students conventionally have
settled to accept “frugal, underserved and compromised”
accommodations. Our work, therefore, had to not just present a new
possibility but also overthrow that deep-rooted culture
Result :
We created an identity and communication that “hit the nail in its
head”. Demonstrated the “Student Life Culture” that the brand
wished to espouse through engaging photography, website, Adverts and
promotional material
- Baghirathi
Baghirathi is
a brand committed to excellence. With a strong management focus,
efficient team and state-of-the-art infrastructure, they were seeking
to disrupt the transport market by bringing in a professional and
service-oriented business model.
Baghirathi
came to us to refurbish their visual identity.
Challenge
: The local transport industry
is plagued by ill-managed and badly-serviced players. How could we,
with visual language, communicate the brand’s freshness and
professionalism.
Result :
Starting with their logo, we revamped their entire brand identity
with a series of interventions including identity, website and
marketing materials.
- Nomads
The Nomads
were passionate, quirky and slightly off-minded. They wanted to
create a disruptive new travel business that promoted offbeat ideas,
destinations and concept.
Young and
fresh-off-the-college, they came to us to help them give their vision
an identity
Challenge
: Offbeat Travel wasn’t an
“in” thing. Our work, therefore, had to not just create an
identity but also play a larger role of evangelizing people
Result :
We gave Nomads a face, effectively translated the founders’ vision
into an identity. Their logos, communication, language, marketing
material – everything disrupted the travel industry and got people
to get up and look.
- Nirvana Live
Nirvana Live
was founded with a very clear vision – to act as a platform for the
arts in India. It is an artistic consultancy that conceptualizes,
develops, produces and promotes festivals in all realms of the
performing arts. Nirvana Live aims at promoting “Cultural
Diplomacy” – an idea to bolster international cultural dialogue
through artistic showcase and exchanges.
Challenge
: It was a sweet nightmare to
bring together the dichotomy of Nirvana Live. Founders were fresh,
young entrepreneurs with passionate blood who set out to do ambitious
“serious” stuff. Its identity definitely had to reflect both in
good harmony.
Result :
Nirvana Live’s overall visual language maintained a certain
“neatness” and “geometry”. Twist here was to represent “R”
in its hindi syllable to demonstrate the strong local focus with
global aspiration. That India went on to adapt a similar looking
symbol for its currency was a play of destiny !
- The Tamara Confluence
The Tamara
Confluence was an annual festival of art, culture, music and
literature focused on the idea of sustainability. Free to access, the
festival was hosted at an exotic locale with some of the finest minds
in attendance.
We were,
again, to give the words a pretty face.
Challenge
: While the identity and the
offshoots thereof had to appeal to the youth, it was equally
important to maintain a certain sanctity – that of the seriousness
of its cause and vision
Result :
The logo represents positive show of hands, in different colors all
united by the strength of a common fold. This was to demonstrate 1.
That all diverse cultural events tied back to a common cause and 2.
The power of individual expression.
- Greyscale
Greyscale was
a recently founded architectural studio based in Bangalore. Founded
by experienced architects with a taste for the modern contemporary,
the studio wanted to reframe their paradigm.
Challenge
: With clients being creative
artists themselves, it is bit of a hard task to encapsulate their
philosophy into a visual identity. Endless meetings, hours of
discussions and deliberations ensued.
Result :
We spent a zillion hours going through the history of contemporary
architecture, client’s works to look for a clue of their underlying
style. The identity and other extensions are brutally simple, honest
and devoid of all the frills – just like their works.
- Octavium
Passionate
musicians came together to create an institution for the love of
music. Thus was born, Octavium – a young and stylish music school
with state-of-the-art infrastructure and some fine business ideas.
Challenge
: There are “musical hobby
classes” and then there are academies promoting the love of music.
We had to clearly establish the distinction here.
Result :
Octavium’s website found inspiration in a Google Doodle
commemorating Les Paul. A nice mix of illustrations, new-age
technology platform makes for a simple yet impressive digital
experience.
